THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
Perhaps you have heard of the Butterfly Effect.
Wikipedia states the butterfly effect refers to a concept that small causes can have large effects.
As a metaphor for things and people who can and do make a difference, this effect can be witnessed throughout history and is just as powerful today.
Believing that what we do makes a difference can predispose us to make better choices.
Knowing that our actions today can and do assist others now and years ahead gives ordinary lives meaning and helps us determine the legacy that we want to leave beyond our stay on this planet.
As people focus on their definite major purpose in life, consideration can be given to how their life’s work can and will benefit others.
Whether you are a entrepreneur, employer, butcher, baker, or candlestick maker the benefit that you deliver with the proper positive mental attitude might change the course of the destiny of our world over time.
By knowing that what we do matters we can look on our life’s purpose as being part of a universal plan that indeed can change the world.
But, the key to all of this is that you have to show up. Without action on your part, you leave the door open for someone else to step in and position themselves for results.
It is not unreasonable to believe that if you had taken action, the outcome for someone or even the world would have been different.
By just thinking about doing something you are not putting the action out there to receive the required effect.
Thoughts are things, and airy things at that, but without the physical action that transfers thoughts to physical reality nothing much happens.
Don’t be a fence sitter. Be a doer. An achiever. A person who utilizes the Butterfly Effect in a small way to make a big impact on the world.
You can do it if you believe you can.
You should do it.
Show up.
Be counted.
Make your life meaningful by making a difference that will stand the test of time.
Your actions are your gift to the world.
